"I was sixteen when my grandmother first taught me how to knit. As I moved to New York City from a small town in Massachusetts to pursue a passion for photography, my hobby kept up with me and I continued to knit anywhere I could find the time - on my way to work, in between classes, and sometimes secretly in the middle of critiques. Throughout my fast-paced city life, I soon found that I was never without a ball of yarn and knitting needles wherever I went. Fast-forward to many years later; as I sit on trains headed to and from our little house in the Hudson Valley that I share with my husband and our beloved pets, the knitting needles and yarn still haven't left me. With a profound love of chunky knits and handcrafted goods, I get to share these Commuter Beanies. Made with love on the Metro North, in the subway, and even sometimes while walking down the streets of NYC. Keep warm." - Liesel
